Before you hire
How much is the weekly rent?
Weekly rent depends on the vehicle, agreement term, intended use and insurance position. The exact amount is confirmed in writing before you sign.
Is a deposit required?
A deposit may be required. The amount, permitted deductions and return arrangements will be recorded in the agreement.
Is insurance included?
Insurance arrangements vary. You must not drive until SAMEEGO has confirmed that you are approved and correctly insured for the intended use.
Who handles maintenance?
SAMEEGO arranges routine servicing, MOT, recalls and fair wear-and-tear repairs. Drivers remain responsible for daily checks, prompt defect reporting and avoidable damage or misuse as set out in the agreement.
Can I end the agreement early?
Early ending and notice terms are stated in the agreement. Read them before signing and contact SAMEEGO if your circumstances change.
Can I use the vehicle for taxi or private-hire work?
Only where the vehicle, driver, operator and insurance arrangements meet the relevant licensing and policy requirements. Approval must be confirmed before use.
